Our award-winning online course is designed to help teachers, administrators and other school personnel prevent and manage potentially life-threatening allergic reactions. Developed in partnership with leading organizations Anaphylaxis Canada and the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, our course has also been adapted for use in childcare settings and pharmacist training. A new US version of the course was developed in collaboration with the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and the Food Allergy Initiative (FAI).
In a research study sponsored by AllerGen NCE Inc, our course was proven to be highly effective, with large improvements in knowledge, skills and confidence after using the program.
This program provides “one-stop shopping” for a thorough review of managing life-threatening food allergies in the school setting.
